Verkada’s Dome Series offers enterprise-grade security in a versatile and compact form factor with models designed for both indoor and outdoor environments. They feature a durable aluminum housing and reinforced dome cover for protection against tampering, while outdoor models are rated against weather extremes. These cameras can capture images with up to 4K resolution and feature IR LEDs for clear picture quality in a variety of lighting conditions. Certain models leverage an advanced varifocal lens with motorized zoom for optimal viewing and detailed people and vehicle capture at distance.
All models feature powerful onboard Amabarella processors, enabling Verkada’s advanced people and vehicle analytics. Organizations can quickly filter for people and vehicles based on a variety of attributes like clothing color, gender appearance, and facial matches, as well as vehicle type, color, make, and model. Verkada’s AI-powered search can also be used to find relevant footage and create alerts based on freeform text prompts.
Like all Verkada devices, the Dome Series cameras are easy to install. They are powered by power over ethernet (PoE) and require no additional setup, downloads, or configuration. The Dome Series also encompasses a number of mini dome cameras designed specifically for discreet deployments or small spaces where the traditional dome form factor is simply too large.
